I help executives and professionals who have reached a physical turning point reclaim a body that keeps pace with their life.
Monday. You tell yourself: tonight I'm working out.
Then the last call runs long. You grab lunch with colleagues, not what you planned. By 7 PM you're drained. Tomorrow is a new day.
Tuesday the same. On the weekend too much, too fast. Your back protests. Monday you're back at the office. The pattern repeats.
You manage projects, teams and deadlines. Every meeting is prepared, every week planned out.
But for yourself? No calendar block for training. No plan. The effort would be less than what you deliver at work every day. You know that. And yet it doesn't happen.
Feeling good when you put on your clothes in the morning. Taking the stairs without being out of breath. Knowing how your body works and having the steering wheel back in your hands. That's possible.
I know both extremes. Exercise addiction with 18 sessions per week, undernourished, 79 kg at 1.89m. And the opposite: 106 kg, no exercise, emotional eating phases, completely lost control of my body.
In between: 8 years in sales and key account management, 60-hour weeks, a daily routine that left no room for my own body. Plus two torn ankle ligaments (first in handball, then climbing) and recurring shoulder problems from years of weight training and team sports.
When cardiovascular disease hit my closest family, I reached the point where I knew: I don't just want to find my own way back. I want to help others before it gets that far.
Today I work as a personal trainer and movement coach in Düsseldorf. Not because I always wanted to be a trainer, but because I experienced first-hand what happens when you swing between extremes instead of finding balance.
You don't lack motivation. You lack the right strategy. A plan that works with your daily life, not against it.
I work differently. We address the root cause: years of desk work and chronic stress have thrown your body out of balance. Movement patterns it once mastered have been forgotten. And your nervous system is permanently on standby.
We bring that back. Step by step. Foundation first, then load. Understand first, then challenge.
Movement patterns your daily life doesn't train: rotation, stability, coordination. We work specifically on what your body needs to stay resilient and pain-free long-term.
I explain why your body reacts the way it does. No motivational slogans, but real understanding of your patterns, your habits and your limitations.
No standard gym program. We work with rotational training, locomotion, clubbells and kettlebells. We rebuild movement competence your body already knows but has forgotten: throwing, rotating, coordinating. The full spectrum of biomechanics. Discover what your body is truly capable of.
A free initial consultation. 30 minutes, no trial session, no sales pitch. I listen, ask questions and show you why previous approaches haven't worked. Afterwards you'll know whether this is the right path for you.
In a 90-minute movement assessment I analyse your posture, your movement patterns and your limitations. For the first time, you'll see in black and white why your body reacts the way it does.
Individually tailored to your assessment — whether 1x, 2x or 3x per week, in the studio, outdoors or via video. With app-based coaching and direct access to me between sessions. Not an off-the-shelf program, but a plan that evolves with you and your life.
Self-efficacy. You make decisions about your health as clearly as you do at work. You learn how your body works, understand what it needs, and act on it.
Energy. You leave the third meeting of the day and still have capacity for the evening. Not because you push through, but because your body is better regulated.
Longevity. You invest in a body that still works in 10 years. Not a short-term program, but a foundation for health and mobility that lasts.
Quality of life. You enjoy your free time again instead of recovering from work. Your body carries your life instead of slowing it down.
"Sören learned a comprehensive movement model that helps people hurt less, move better, and train smarter. Whether you are just getting out of pain or getting ready to train."— Zac Cupples, Human Matrix
"For me, Sören is a personal trainer who goes far beyond pure expertise. He is empathetic, listens and understands what people need. He meets people where they are, without pressure or ego. This creates sustainable, effective and motivating training where you feel taken seriously and still reach your goal."— Raphael Rochner, Körperbau Therapie & Training
No. The assessment shows me where to start, whether you haven't exercised in years or train regularly. I meet you where you are.
Then you're in the right place. I have my own pain history (two torn ankle ligaments, shoulder problems) and know from personal experience that targeted training can be a crucial part of the solution. My qualifications in rehab training and biomechanics give me the tools for this.
Important: I am not a therapist. For therapeutic treatment you need a physiotherapist or doctor. If you already have a diagnosis or a recommendation from your therapist, I can tailor the training accordingly. If not, we'll clarify your history through the intake form and initial consultation before we start.
That depends entirely on your situation: your daily routine, your body, your goals. My experience shows that with 2 to 3 hours per week and the right approach, adapted to your lifestyle, good results are very achievable. Training is only one building block. Nutrition, recovery and daily habits play an equally important role. What's realistic and effective for you, we'll figure out in the initial consultation.
We discuss that in the initial consultation, because the offer depends on your situation and goals. I don't offer one-size-fits-all packages, but individual solutions. The initial consultation itself is free and non-binding.
In person at my studio in Düsseldorf, at your home, office or outdoors. For clients who can't be there in person or travel frequently, I also offer online coaching. The core principle stays the same: individual support, just via video. What fits your routine best, we'll figure out in the initial consultation.
No. I work as a holistic health coach. Training is a central building block, but nutrition, stress management, sleep and daily habits are equally part of it. My standard is that you get a complete concept that works in your life. Not just a training plan gathering dust in a drawer.
